About John Bailey John has been teaching & working with children (aged two to seventeen) and advising families and schools for over 30 years. He is highly qualified – theoretically and practically – to advise in most areas of special needs support (social, emotional and intellectual). John has a B.A, B.Ed & M.Ed. (from UWA) and spent 12 months as a visiting scholar at Cambridge University in the UK. He has taught in Australia, England, Canada and China and has worked as an educator and consultant in state and private schools in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors. He also lectures at Curtin University in the area of special needs education. John has worked with over a thousand families in WA. He will travel to your home at your convenience – weekdays or weekends, during working hours or in the evenings. He has extensive practical classroom and administrative experience in developing, managing and teaching programs for children having a wide range of special social, emotional and intellectual (learning) needs. John has presented at hundreds of workshops and dozens of conferences – at the local, state, national and international level. His audiences include teachers, school administrators, other professionals and parents. |
